What does SimpleWash do ? |
SimpleWash is the most convenient dry cleaning and laundry option for you in Brussels. It’s quick and eco-friendly. Avalaible from Sunday to Thursday, our door-to-door service takes care of the collection and delivery of your clothes from noon till 11 :00pm. From your most beautiful dress to your special dinner shirt, we will take care of every piece of clothe you give us. Order now, only 2 minutes are needed for your first order.
Is SimpleWash avalaible in my zip code ? |
We cover a wide area of Brussels. The quickest way to find out if we service your area is to just enter your post code on our website : www.simplewash.be. We don’t service your area yet ? Be sure to add your email address to receive a notification when we launch in your area ! Be aware that we are expanding fast and our goal is to cover the entire city of Brussels and its suburb.
How do I sign up ? |
After your first order, you’ll be ask to create a personal account for the use of our services. You can use your personal information or connect with facebook and gmail. It will then be very easy to follow your order, change your personal information or issue a new order. During your resgistration, your cell phone number will be requested. This is the best way for us to help your through your SimpleWash expérience.
How to perform my first order ? |
It’s very simple ! After connecting on www.simplewash.be click on the ‘Order Now’ button or on ‘Book a SimpleGuy’ button in your personal session. Then you’ll be asked to : i) Choose from our list of cleaning services ; ii) Provide the collection/delivery address ; iii) Select your pick up and delivery timeslot ; iv) Give your personal banking details ; v) Confirm your order ; Now you can enjoy your free time, we’ll take care of the rest from this point.
How much does SimpleWash cost ? |
At SimpleWash, we are very keen on transparency. We offer our services at market standard pricing. Find out more on our prices on https://www.simplewash.be/all-prices.php in order to know exactly what you will be paying for. Moreover, our website allows you to see what is the estimated final price of your order. Take note that there are additional surcharges for certain materials such as silk, cashmere, wool, … If your order is equal or higher than €50,00, the collection and delivery are free.
Is there a minimum order ? |
Yes, there is a minimum order value and any order under this amount will be charged at the minimum order value. You can use vouchers to lower the amount you actually pay but some promotions may affect the minimum order value. The fee for collection and delivery is €5,00. If your order is equal or higher than €50,00, the collection and delivery are free.
What should I prepare for the first pickup? |
Just have your clothes ready! Your SimpleGuy will bring a SimpleWash bag to place your loose clothes in, so it helps to have them all together. It’s important for us that you separate what should be laundered and what should be dry cleaned. Note carefully that we do accept your bags and/or hampers. But we are not responsible in case of any loss (watches, jewelry, coins, …) during the process.
Do I need to separate my clothes ? |
In accordance to your order, it is requested that your separate distinctly : i) Clothes that should be dry cleaned ; ii) Clothes that should be laundered ; iii) Wash & fold or wash & iron. If it’s not done, please inform your SimpleGuy. On our end, our partners will take care of separating your clothes by colour and textile type for your wash & fold or wash & iron order.
How long does cleaning take ? |
We target to collect your clothes, clean them and bring them back to you all within 72 hours. If you’d prefer we bring your clothes later, just select another timeslot. Some items can take a little longer than 72 hours but in this case you’ll be advise and we will define a delivery time slot together on the phone.
How to know the status of my order ? Did the dry cleaning partner receive my clothes ? |
At any given time, you can connect on simplewash.be and check for the status of your order. When logged in, just click on ‘My cleaning’ and select the specific order you want to know about.
What kind of cleaning for which piecs of clothes ? |
The easiest way to know how your clothes should be washed is to check the label. When we come to collect your clothes it’s important to separate your clothes from what should be dry cleaned or laundered.
I can not find the section in which I should input a specific piece of clothes. |
If you can’t find the adequate category for a specific piece of clothe you can put in the closest category you thing it should go. We’ll get in touch with you if there is any issue or misunderstanding.
Should I separate the white items from the coloured ones ? |
Don’t worry about that ! Our partners will take care of this issue when we will bring them your clothes.
Where do you take my clothes ? |
We selected the best laundry and dry cleaning facilities in Brussels for you. They are well-known for their quality service and professionalism. Therefore, you can entrust us with your clothes, even the sensitive ones, without any fear. SimpleWash ensures the total respect of industrial standard for the cleaning of clothes. It will be handled by one of our skilled partner. Once we’ve brought back your clothes, you’ll be invited to rate our partner using an anonymous survey online.
Are there any fabrics you don't clean? |
We don’t currently clean leather, suede, velvet or fur items. In the rare event that we receive your clothes and cannot clean them, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Can you remove all stains? |
Our teams use the very highest quality equipment and industry-leading stain removal products available – but some stains can stump even us.
Should I launder or dry clean my men’s button down shirts ? |
We recommend you follow the care instructions or your shirt. If the tag reads ‘dry clean only’, we advise to have it processed accordingly. Most men’s cotton dress shirts can be laundered. If you have any garment specific questions, feel free to reach out to customer support. Every member of our support team is a certified dry cleaner!
What about women’s shirts ? Why can’t they be landered ? |
At this time we are unable to offer laundering for women’s blouses. As opposed to mens button downs, womens blouses have more variety in terms of fabric, cuts, construction, and ornamentation (buttons, rhinestones, etc) and can’t fit in the same pressing machine as men’s dress shirts. As a result, it is much more time and labor intensive than simply dry cleaning the blouse would be.
What if my clothes are damaged during the cleaning process? |
Your clothes are in safe hands and incidents of damage are extremely rare – but we understand it’s a natural point of concern. That’s why we’re fully insured! In the (very, very) rare event your item is damaged, we’ll reimburse you in accordance with our compensation policy. Please refer to the T&Cs for more details.
Do I need to weigh my Wash, Tumble Dry & Fold/ironed bag? |
There’s no need to weigh your bag. Your SimpleGuy can do this for you at your door and all Wash, Tumble Dry & Fold orders are weighed when they reach the facility.
What temperature do you wash the clothes at? |
We process all Wash, Tumble Dry & Fold orders at a standard 30 degree temperature.
Do you dry my clothes? |
Yes, all clothes in a Wash, Tumble Dry & Fold/Ironed order are tumble dried at a medium heat. Please make sure your clothes are tumble dry friendly!
When can you collect and deliver my order? |
Collection and delivery times can differ depending on availability, but we’re typically available from noon to 11pm, from Sunday to Thursday.
Can I schedule pickup and delivery at different locations? |
Not at the moment. Currently pickup and delivery needs to be at the same location, but we’ll add multi-location orders very soon.
How do I schedule a pickup or drop off ? |
It’s super simple! Go to Place Order to select a timeslot for your clothes to be picked up and dropped off.
What if my SimpleGuy is running behing schedule ? |
We do our absolute best to honor the time slot you selected, but sometimes there are unexpected delays beyond our control (traffic, weather, car trouble). We also know how busy you are, so if we’re running behind and you just can’t wait, let us know, and we’re happy to reschedule your order free of charge.
Can I cancel my order? |
Oui, il vous est possible d’annuler gratuitement votre commande en cours jusqu'à 6h avant la collecte. Pour ce faire envoyer nous un mail à l’adresse : support@simplewash.be. Au-delà de ce délai, des frais d’annulation de €5,00 vous seront automatiquement facturés.
How do I change my order time ? |
Yes, you can change the collection or delivery time within by contacting customer care at support@simplewash.be. Orders must be rescheduled 6 hours before the collection/delivery, a cancellation fee of €5,00 will apply
Can you pick up/drop off my dry cleanng even if I’m not at home ? |
Yes, we can. Please leave any special instructions about your order beforehand. You may indicate in the delivery note addressed to your SimpleGuy if he is allowed to leave your clean clothing at the door in the event that you are not at home during your selected drop off time.
What if I miss my pickup or dropoff ? |
We understand that life happens and you can't always be home when you intended. If you know in advance that you won't be there for your SimpleWash rendez vous and it's unsafe to leave your order by your door, please adjust your delivery time reach out to our helpful customer support team (support@simplewash.be) to avoid any unnecessary charges. If a SimpleGuy does get to your door and in the event we are unable to reach you and your order must be delivered personally, we will charge a €5,00 "no show" fee and coordinate a more convenient time to visit.
Why are some collection/delivery slots greyed out? |
That’s because we’re busy at those times and can’t take any more orders, sorry! Please choose another available time and we’ll see you then.
How can I pay? |
We accept Visa/MasterCard cards. We cannot currently accept payments in cash or in 'Titres-Services' for the orders. As soon as it will be available we will inform you.
How are my card details transmitted and stored? |
We utilise Stripe for processing payments and all sensitive information is encrypted using SSL (the industry standard) before being transmitted. Our servers do not store your card details to ensure an extra level of security. Please see https://stripe.com/help/security for more details. When will my card be charged? |
When you place an order, your card will receive a temporary pre-authorization charge of EUR 2.00. This is to ensure that your card is valid before we process an order. Your card will then be charged for the remaining amount after the delivery of your order. You will be emailed an itemized receipt. Have a question about charges? What do I do if I’m having account issues or forgot my password ? |
